About
I’m building open-source causal frameworks to quantify onchain ROI, enabling transparent, data-driven funding. The research helps design higher-ROI rounds and creates datasets to train predictive models for future grant impact.
Impact
This project enables Web3 ecosystems to prove and optimize the ROI of public goods funding. It strengthens transparency, governance legitimacy, and capital efficiency, helping communities allocate resources more sustainably and defensibly.
Progress
Completed a 4-month research phase during Protocol Labs and Funding the Commons residencies. Applied causal impact to Optimism RetroPGF and open-sourced all findings and code: github.com/stefi-says/onchain_public_goods_funding_impact_research
Team
Data scientist with 3+ years in Web3 and experience at Gitcoin. Researched impact measurement during Protocol Labs’ Iceland residency, identifying key gaps in post-grant analysis. I combine causal inference, onchain data science and prototyping
