About
A self directed safe learning enviroment for children who have dropped out of school. A Living Learning class so learners acquire practical skills in food production, water conservation, ecological restoration as they discover themselves.
Impact
Improved literacy and digital skills among participants, Increased youth entrepreneurship and self-employment, Enhanced environmental awareness and stewardship, safe community for both children and parents, 20,000 trees planted. Safe learning space.
Progress
Results from the centre in kampala inspired us to start another centre in Namukora in kitgum district interacting with local leaders, parents and developing relationships in the community, with land given for aliving learning demonstration field
Team
I am a passionate about positive change, problem solving in a more creative non conventional way. I enjoy watching the children lighten up as they discuss something they are interested in and pursuing it. The self drive from within inspires me.
