Supporting artists and activists who use the body to reconnect people with nature through ecology and community
The Embodied Dance in Nature Fund supports the wellbeing of the person, so it can connect with others and give back to nature. It involves movement artists, activists, ecosomatic processes who dance with the Earth—feet in the mud, spines swaying like trees, breath rising and falling with the waves. We fund work that treats nature not as backdrop but as collaborator, listening to the language of forests, rivers, deserts, mountains, and oceans. Through ecology, ritual and somatic wisdom, These artists remind us: the body is not separate from the land, it is of it.
