Supporting healing artists, somatic practitioners, and community care workers building accessible, decolonized wellness spaces around the world.
Born in Berlin and reaching worldwide, the JOY Fund backs the people already doing the work of care: sound healers, breathwork facilitators, somatic practitioners, therapists, and community organizers creating trauma-informed spaces where healing is accessible, culturally grounded, and led by community rather than industry. The fund grows from JOY Collective, a Berlin healing collective of 50+ practitioners whose work spans free community support circles, ancestral and indigenous healing traditions, and land-based retreat spaces from Senegal to the Philippines, all guided by one conviction: wellness should be decolonized, rooted in dignity, and within everyone's reach.

We welcome healing artists, somatic practitioners, therapists, holistic facilitators, cultural workers, and community organizers anywhere in the world. You don't need clinical credentials; you need ethical practice, community accountability, and a commitment to making healing spaces safer, more inclusive, and financially accessible.
To qualify for this fund:
- Your project should advance healing arts, regeneration, or collective care: workshops, somatic and embodiment practices, peer-support circles, grief and trauma rituals, ancestral healing traditions, community gatherings, storytelling, digital resources, or land-based healing and retreat spaces
- Projects must be trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and accessible, rooted in community care rather than individualistic or clinical-only approaches
- We prioritize work led by, or created in close collaboration with, people with lived experience of migration, displacement, racialization, or exclusion
- Projects serving displaced and marginalized communities, in Berlin and beyond, hold a special place in this fund's heart
