Scribe Fund for Storytellers

Seeking writers, storytellers, and world-builders creating books that inspire regenerative futures and cultivate new cultural myths.

The Scribe Fund for Storytellers supports writers who weave stories, legends, and knowledge that help humanity imagine and embody new ways of living. We believe books are among the most powerful technologies for cultural transformation. Through novels, anthologies, scripts, comic books, and other written works, this fund seeks to nurture voices that expand our collective imagination, preserve wisdom, and illuminate regenerative futures. Our mission is to cultivate a thriving ecosystem of storytellers whose words inspire more connected, resilient, and life-affirming cultures.

Eligibility

We support written works that contribute to a regenerative culture through storytelling, education, myth-making, or the sharing of practical wisdom. We are particularly interested in projects that make transformative knowledge more accessible and help readers envision new possibilities for how people can live, create, and relate to one another.
To qualify for this fund, projects must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- The primary outcome must be a written artifact such as a book, novel, anthology, guide, manual, collection of essays, or similar long-form publication.
- The project should contribute to regenerative culture through storytelling, education, myth-making, community knowledge, or cultural preservation.
- The work must seek to expand access to ideas, practices, stories, or wisdom that help create a more connected, resilient, and life-affirming world.
- Projects may be fiction or nonfiction but should offer meaningful cultural value beyond entertainment alone.
- Applicants should demonstrate a clear intention to publish, distribute, or otherwise share the completed work with a broader audience.
- Works that amplify underrepresented voices, local traditions, ancestral knowledge, or emerging cultural narratives are strongly encouraged.
- Projects at any stage of development are welcome, from early manuscripts to completed works preparing for publication.
The Scribe Fund is part of a broader vision to cultivate a global community of writers who support one another through collaboration, shared learning, and creative residency programs. We envision a network of writer houses around the world where storytellers can gather, live, and create together while connecting with local communities and traditions. Through collective publishing, mentorship, and cultural exchange, we aim to create new pathways for emerging writers to bring their words into the world and help shape the stories that define the future.
