About
A new autonomous territory and center for peacebuilding; self-governed by our community. A living space that includes: an Autonomous School of anscestral knowledge, Health center, Womens house, Peacebuilding house and Community "Milpa"
Impact
We strengthen autonomy to foster generations growing in peace, dignity, and collective responsibility. We demonstrate that nonviolence and harmony with Mother Earth are real, showing that these seeds travel far beyond our mountains.
Progress
We are an anscestral community that consolidated in 1992 as a non-violent and peacebuilding Civil Society. Despite massacres and forced displacements, we have successfully built autonomous territories previously, such as Acteal.
Team
We are the community of Maya Tsotsil families that have more than 30 years in the activism for peacebuilding, nonviolence, and autonomy, also we are commited to preserve our craft traditions. We embody the memory, and the collective commitment.
