Supporting projects that bring people from communities in conflict into contact, dialogue, or collaboration
The Beyonders Fund for Peacemaking supports organizers, artists, educators, technologists, and community builders creating real conditions for peace. We fund projects that reduce violence, strengthen trust, foster dialogue, and build lasting infrastructure for cooperation across divides. Our mission is to surface the beyonders already growing futures that politics cannot yet imagine.
Eligibility
We support practical, locally rooted, and inclusive projects that advance peace through nonviolent action, dialogue, education, healing, mutual aid, civic innovation, art, technology, or community resilience. To qualify for this fund, projects must meet the following eligibility requirements: - Clearly contribute to peace, peacebuilding, conflict transformation, or cross-cultural cooperation. - Demonstrate a commitment to defending human life, dignity, and nonviolence. - Present a credible plan, clear community benefit, and practical theory of change. - Take a constructive approach that builds trust, resilience, dialogue, or shared infrastructure between communities in conflict. - Use creative, strategic, or subversive methods that open paths to broader collaboration. - Preference given to locally rooted, inclusive projects with measurable positive impact. Projects focused on inner peace, mindfulness, personal healing, or community building within a single community do not qualify, however valuable. Neither does work that promotes peace as a message without bringing conflicting groups together. To qualify, your project must put people from opposing sides of a real conflict in relationship with each other.
