About
a videochat platform that is alive, dynamic, AI integrated, a virtual township of a community with AI.
Impact
Castalia gives scattered online communities a real body: a shared 2D world with proximity voice/video and an AI layer that remembers conversations. It turns loose online groups into places where real governance and collective intelligence can happen.
Progress
Live and running: Colyseus multiplayer, Phaser 2D world, self-hosted LiveKit A/V with one-way zone acoustics, Logto auth, and an AI knowledge layer (Cortex) that ingests sessions and answers questions. Deployed to production and a public beta server.
Team
I've built and shipped Castalia's full stack solo: multiplayer server, spatial audio/video engine, auth, and the AI memory layer, iterating directly with a live community. I understand both the tech and the governance problem it's built to solve.
