About
We're building open software that lets anyone send crypto and receive local African cash — Naira, Shillings, Cedis — in their bank or mobile wallet. Like a bridge: digital dollars go in, local money comes out. Free for anyone to use and build on.
Impact
Clova Pay slashes cross-border fees from 10–15% to near-zero. Remittances reach families faster. Freelancers get paid instantly. Businesses settle in seconds. Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Uganda — 400M+ people who deserve better rails. All open source.
Progress
Phase 1 is live. Working API: quotes, payouts, webhooks across NGN, KES, GHS and UGX. Paycrest handles routing. Supports cUSD/Celo, USDC/Base, USDCx/Stacks. Liquidity providers earn fees. Pay-per-call billing via x402 for agents and developers.
Team
I'm an African dev who's lived this problem. I've shipped DeFi products on Solana and EVM chains and understand both Web3 infra and African payment rails. This gap is personal — I built Clova Pay because these tools didn't exist.
