Powered by the community around Learning Layer Labs at Frontier Tower in San Francisco, this fund backs artists, engineers, researchers, and builders experimenting with new forms of AI-native creativity and technology. From agent-based systems and vibe-coded software to immersive installations and research explorations, we champion projects that push the boundaries of what becomes possible when humans collaborate with intelligent machines.

Eligibility
We welcome projects that explore the creative, technical, and cultural frontier of artificial intelligence. The Learning Layer community brings together artists, researchers, developers, and entrepreneurs who are actively experimenting with new AI tools and ideas. This fund supports projects that emerge from this spirit of experimentation and exploration. To qualify for this fund, projects must meet the following eligibility requirements: - AI-Native Projects: The project must meaningfully incorporate artificial intelligence, machine learning, or emerging AI systems. - Frontier Exploration: Projects should push the boundaries of what is possible with AI, including experimentation with agents, autonomous systems, or emerging frameworks such as OpenClaw and similar technologies. - Art, Science, or Technology: Submissions may include creative works, research, open-source software, tools, immersive installations, or new technological prototypes. - Experimental Spirit: We encourage projects that explore new approaches such as vibe coding, agentic learning systems, human-AI collaboration, or unconventional workflows. - Immersive & Interactive Work: Projects may include immersive technology, projection mapping, interactive media, or spatial computing experiences. - Critical Inquiry: We welcome projects that explore both the opportunities and challenges of AI, including ethical questions, labor impacts, intellectual property, and societal transformation. - Community Connection: Projects should demonstrate a connection to the Learning Layer community or the broader ecosystem of builders experimenting with AI. - Open to All Creators: Artists, researchers, engineers, educators, designers, and technologists from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
