About
A conservation project uniting scientists and rural communities in northern Mexico to protect grassland birds through research, local stewardship, and sustainable land use—ensuring a future for both wildlife and people.
Impact
Grasslands are vanishing, putting unique bird species and rural ways of life at risk. Protecting them means preserving biodiversity, supporting local communities, and ensuring a sustainable future for both nature and people.
Progress
Over the past 15 years, we've monitored grassland birds in rural communities, worked with local people, and built key scientific baselines to guide the long-term conservation of these vulnerable species.
Team
As a conservation biologist with 15+ years of fieldwork, scientific publications, and deep ties to rural communities, I bridge research and local action to protect Mexico’s grassland birds where it matters most—on the ground.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
