About
At The Gathering Portugal, we bring together artists, ecologists, scientists, land stewards, NGOs, and the local community. For 7 days, we listen, dream, imagine, design and prototype. Together, we create the Seed of an Eternal Forest Sanctuary.
Impact
The project offers a living blueprint for how any community can restore and protect forest through art, ecology, and guardianship, shifting culture from short-term use to long-term care, kinship with nature, and legacy for future generations.
Progress
We have met the local community, received interest and commitment from the local government, shaped the 7-day camp journey, and begun inviting artists, NGOs, scientists, land stewards, and regeneration partners to join.
Team
I founded Eternal Forest and have built its first sanctuaries in Portugal, including Faia Brava: a planted Seed, community beginning, and prototype for art, restoration, and long-term stewardship.

The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
