About

We're building Ragnarok, a student-made liquid rocket engine powered by super-cold liquid oxygen and jet fuel. During a hot-fire, the fuel flows through the engine walls, cooling the engine and adding energy to the fuel, boosting efficiency.

Impact

Our projects train students to build rocket engines, giving them experience to launch into their careers at companies like SpaceX and Blue Origin. These companies believe in a multiplanetary future, sustaining Earth and making space more accessible.

Progress

We’ve designed and tested Elysium 1, an ethanol/nitrous heatsink engine, producing 512 lbf thrust for 5s. Now we’re advancing, testing Elysium 2 soon (1500 lbf, throttling, gimbaling, 15s) and designing Ragnarok (2000 lbf, 10s, regenerative LOx/RP).

Team

We’ve already proven our process with Elysium 1’s hot fire campaign. Also, as students return from their incredible internships, they bring a wealth of knowledge to our team, making us more qualified than ever to build and test aerospace hardware.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
