About
Sym is an art object that visualises breathing real-time in a soothing light, using custom sensors worn in a belt. Multiple people can connect and breathe together, visualised in different colours - as they sync, Sym radiates with rainbows!
Impact
As many as 1 in 3 suffer from anxiety, often connected to dysfunctional breathing. Sym encourages connection to one's breath, oneself and others and encourages beneficial deep diaphragmatic breathing, which naturally relieves stress and anxiety.
Progress
Sym emerged from an immersive art installation Symbiosis - initially conceived 10 years ago. We have developed custom sensor technology and software and now have a compact prototype that is readying to launch into the world to create wide impact.
Team
I am an award winning artist having created immersive installations for the likes of Secret Cinema and Vivienne Westwood. I have gone through accelerators to develop my knowledge in business and leadership and I'm a certified breathwork instructor.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
