About
We are developing a user-friendly dapp that allows artisans to use blockchain without realizing it. We found that marketplaces are too complex for them, so our dapp simplifies blockchain access for the Linares family and all artisans in LATAM.
Impact
After selling the first pieces through the blockchain, the artisans earned 750% more than through the usual intermediaries. We seek to multiply this impact by bringing the artwork of more than 100 artisan communities from LATAM.
Progress
We developed an auction house on Ethereum for exclusive Calaveras physical pieces. Supported by Gitcoin, we produced new pieces and held a promotional event at ETH Cinco de Mayo. Additionally, we created a photographic archive for the Linares family.
Team
I spent 15 years in the Mexican folk market and we organized two fairs featuring Mexican artisans, attracting international buyers to Mexico. We have assembled a great team to bring this project to life and to make a lasting, long-term impact.
