About
FEMMEBIT is a festival and platform for marginalized artists, providing exhibition opportunities and exposure for their important work over the past 9 years. We need to pay for infrastructure, web hosting, venues, salaries and basic operations.
Impact
By supporting historically underrepresented artists.
Progress
Two multi-day festivals, multiple online programs, events with LACMA, Dublab, Feral File, The Other Art Fair, and Coaxial Arts. In the past, we've received grants from Media The Foundation and Pepperdine University, UCLA, Yale Alumni League.
Team
As co-founder of FEMMEBIT and an artist myself, I feel the art world could provide more inclusive, grass roots, and cross-disciplinary approaches to culture, and that the artworks we support should be understood intersectionally.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
