About
I’m making a music project that sheds some light on the difficulties of being a creative in south south Nigeria, so many limitation . This project is also a statement to every artist to keep creating, knowing that sometimes the obstacle is the way.
Impact
This project will electrify my community, I want kids and younger artists to know they can make a living off their creativity, this will keep a lot of kids out of the streets and away from fraudulent activities. I want them to know they can be more
Progress
I’ve been able to build a small collective not just in the south south but in Lagos Nigeria too. Creating an atmosphere for people making different forms of art to work and make profit together. Musicians, dancers, actors, writers and so on .
Team
The topic for me isn’t an imaginative composition, for me it comes from life experiences , limitations of being African poor but regardless we have to keep pushing the boundaries of our creativity. Learning and unlearning , gaining new perspectives
