About
I'm making a 20-minute interactive animated VR narrative project based on the dreams people saw in three historical periods: in the Third Reich, Germany, in the Soviet Union in the 30-ies and 40-ies, and in modern Russia.
Impact
We don't have other ways to evolve as a species other than to better understand each other. In totalitarian societies, people stop speaking about their thoughts and feelings. Dreams become a rare window to the world of authentic feelings.
Progress
We've developed artwork, prototyped four scenes in Unreal Engine, completed College Biennale in Venice (2024) and European Creators Labs (Development and Prototyping in 2023), and were selected for the New Images Film Festival (Market section, 2024)
Team
I'm bringing my 10+ years of experience in VR production to this project. Together with the director of the project, Jane Rzheznikova (www.rzheznikova.com) we've put together a team of artists and developers able to complete the project.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
