About
VR Haptic installation on the Breast Cancer Treatment experience
Impact
The project validates people's personal experiences of the trauma of cancer treatment for patients and survivors, their families and friends as well as provides more empathy for healthcare professionals to their patient's experiences.
Progress
We've finished the piece and shown it in several UK locations and now its going to the Venice Biennale immersive exhibition and to the London Film Festival Expanded show but we need to raise about £5000 to be able to attend Venice in August
Team
I'm a cancer survivor (Ovarian) and the key story is by collaborator Tara Baoth Mooney is a breast cancer survivor (its sort of her story). We understand how to provide insight, instill empathy and aid in sensitive validation on this experience
