About
scary movie told through puppets and folklore — in a language almost nobody speaks anymore. Like a bedtime story that fights back.
Impact
Louisiana Creole has fewer than 10,000 speakers left. This film creates the first horror narrative spoken entirely in the language — making preservation feel urgent, alive, and cinematic.
Progress
Test shoots completed on Sony Venice 6 and 35mm Panavision. Script locked. Compair Lapin prosthetics built. Dialect coach, narrator, puppet fabricator, and Laura Plantation location all confirmed.
Team
My great-grandmother told these stories in the Ninth Ward of New Orleans. My family hid their Creole after the Great Migration. This isn't research for me — it's reclamation. I'm making the film no one else can

The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
