About
Higuerones started to embody the shared dream of a vibrant hub where communities from all over the Osa meet each other, learn about, and co-create more life affirming ways of living and collaborating.
Impact
As a community hub nestled on a tiny Peninsula representing 2.5% of the Earth’s biodiversity, we seek to evolve a vibrant community hub into a co-stewarded commons…demonstrating what Bioregional level bio mimicry might look like.
Progress
We are sooo ready to go! Over the past 6 years, Los Higuerones was always dreamed to be shifted from private ownership into some form of Cooperative stewardship. This imagining into how this could be structured has just recently become clearer.
