About
I am directing and producing a staged reading of "Dead End Kids," a wacky film noir/romantic comedy about the power of true love. Mickey meets Maude, Maude reunites with Mickey, Maude leaves Mickey to Marry Morgan, Mickey gets Maude back!
Impact
Dead End Kids also comments on contemporary American politics and mores, and it critiques Trumpian America. As with the 50501 protests have engendered a sense of community, audiences will feel transformed by coming together and enjoying my play!
Progress
Dead End Kids began as a one-act play presented by the KNOW Theatre. I expanded the play into a full-length play. Round the Bend Theatre produced a staged reading in June 2024; I revised the script, & produced a reading in August; then did rewrites.
Team
I have an extensive background as a theatre professional, having directed more than 100 productions, workshops, and readings of plays. I have also written more than 20 plays, musicals, and an opera.
