Motherland Fund for Rising Voices

We are seeking the spirit of Accra. Calling out to all creators who blend local heritage with global influence.

We support creators who are based in Accra or deeply connected to its cultural ecosystem, and who channel their local experiences into global conversations. To qualify for this fund, projects must meet the following eligibility requirements: We are seeking projects that demonstrate a spirit of collaboration. Project must span multidisciplinary fields: e.g. fashion, music, film, tech, photography, performance, and beyond. Lead creator must be based in Accra & have strong, demonstrable ties to the city. Project must reflect a “glocal” perspective—rooted in local culture with relevance or resonance beyond Accra. Must demonstrate artistic excellence, creative innovation, and a commitment to community or cultural contribution. Project should contribute to the growth, sustainability, or evolution of Accra’s creative economy. Must align with Motherland’s values of Glocal Impact and Creative Nurturing from the Ground Up.

Eligibility

- Lead creator must be based in Accra & have strong, demonstrable ties to the city.
- Collaborators & Lead creator must be mentioned within project outlines
- Project must reflect a “glocal” perspective—rooted in local culture with relevance or resonance beyond Accra.
- The project will embrace multidisciplinary fields: fashion, music, film, tech, photography, performance, and beyond.
- Must demonstrate artistic excellence, creative innovation, and a commitment to community or cultural contribution.
- Project should contribute to the growth, sustainability, or evolution of Accra’s creative economy.
- Must align with Motherland’s values of Glocal Impact and Creative Nurturing from the Ground Up.
