About
This project aims to bring one of Africa’s most iconic stories to life through cinema, blending traditional folklore with a modern, comedic and cinematic approach. Kweku Ananse is more than a film it is a celebration of Ghanaian culture.
Impact
This project preserves Ghanaian oral folklore through film, sharing African stories with global audiences while exploring universal themes of ethics, community, and responsibility, inspiring cultural pride and future storytellers.
Progress
I have independently produced 3 short films funded entirely from my own pocket. These projects strengthened my storytelling, production skills, and ability to deliver quality work despite limited resources, showing my growth and readiness to scale.
Team
I am the right person because I combine a deep understanding of Ghanaian folklore with proven resilience as a filmmaker. I have independently produced three films with minimal resources, demonstrating my pure commitment.
