About
An app for young people in Africa who feel alone. You can talk to a counselor for free, get matched with a mentor who has been where you are, and always have someone who will stay with you. Not just advice. Someone who stays.
Impact
Most African teenagers who are struggling have nobody to tell. What pulled me back at 13 was two friends who stayed. Presence is medicine, and I am turning that into a system: survivors trained as mentors, reaching teenagers in schools.
Progress
Sturbon is live in two Nigerian states(self funded): 270 young people reached, 150 counseling hours, 50 lives changed. Website: https://sturbon.vercel.app/
Team
I was 13 in Abia State when I wrote a suicide letter I never sent. At 18 I left Nigeria to self fund from Kigali. I do political economics research at Stanford GSB. Others studied this. I have been it. Portfolio: https://owizdom.github.io/port/

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
