About
A day-long hike led by two therapists. The walk has chapters: moving as a group, alone, with a stranger, and one-to-one with a therapist. Nature, movement and human connection in one day - doing together what a therapy room can't do alone.
Impact
Nature restores, exercise treats depression and anxiety, and group therapy matches individual therapy. We do all three in a day. With treatment gaps above 70% in most countries, a walk reaches people a clinic never will. Let nature and activity heal.
Progress
We ran our first group in New Zealand this year with close friends. The second runs next month, with the full format built: onboarding, an online session before, the walk itself, and integration after. Season structure and route tiers are mapped.
Team
Robbie (MA, narrative therapy) and Tess (completing MA, psychotherapy): two adventure-loving therapists who tested this on themselves for years. Most outdoor wellbeing work has the outdoor skill or the clinical depth, this has both.
