About
We are creating a two month residency in Goa where artists and non artists explore movement, improvisation, and collective creativity. Through intensive training, laboratories, and performances, participants investigate how bodies can learn together.
Impact
In a time of isolation, polarisation, and digital overload, the residency creates spaces for trust, empathy, and meaningful human connection. It equips people with embodied tools for collaboration, listening, and collective problem solving.
Progress
Over 10 editions, inContact has brought together hundreds of participants from all over the world. We have developed a sustainable residency model, hosted renowned artists, and built the most active Contact Improvisation community in India.
Team
inContact is led by Guru Suraj and Harmandeep Singh, long term practitioners and organisers dedicated to expanding improvisational arts in India. They have spent years building spaces where community, experimentation, and connection thrive.
