About
We built a system that gives every African artwork its own digital ID so no one can fake it, steal it, or erase its history. Think of it like a birth certificate for art, stored forever on the internet.
Impact
African artists lose millions every year to forgery and stolen provenance. Atsur gives them the tools to prove ownership, earn resale royalties, and access global markets on their own terms — starting with Nigeria.
Progress
Live since May 2024. Over 6,000 artworks verified. Team of 10. Top 4 of 700+ startups in the NBA Triple Double Accelerator. Incubated at Carnegie Mellon and AyaHQ x Lisk. Revenue generating. Partnered with the National Gallery of Art Nigeria.
Team
I'm a software engineer and blockchain architect with 13 years of experience as well as a patron of African art. Atsur is a love gift to the art world I grew up in, because it's artists deserved better remuneration and their works better protection.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
