About
We build a website (https://sponsors.elimu.ai) where you can sponsor the education of an out-of-school child.
Impact
The social impact we are aiming for is to increase the number of children that get the opportunity to learn basic reading, writing and math. All so that they can grow up and use their creativity to improve the world. A sponsor can observe the impact.
Progress
We have finished building the Ethereum smart contracts (https://github.com/elimu-ai/web3-sponsors), and we are preparing to test the solution with groups of out-of-school children in Q4 of 2026 (estimated cost per child: $40).
Team
We work in the intersection of real-world impact and blockchain. This puts us in a position to build a system that offers radical transparency and trust for sponsors. The world's first on-chain education sponsorship program.
