About
Viewers will enter the exhibition floor wearing an augmented reality headset, where they can walk around mini-movie sets and see them come to life with real-time animated graphics and VFX.
Impact
Cinemetropolis aims to transform how viewers interact with their favorite films– serving as both entertainment and education, elucidating the process of filmmaking as an interactive top-down experience.
Progress
Our team of technologists, VFX artists and miniaturemakers are developing a prototype embedding scenes within a miniature of a classic Hollywood location. Recent developments in gaussian splat technology have accelerated our R&D over the last year.
Team
I’m a multi-media storyteller, VFX specialist, and miniature enthusiast. My work over the last decade– specifically on Everything Everywhere All At Once, Rear Window Timelapse, and Holorama, all converge in the Cinemetropolis, my lifelong dream.
