Supporting creators building AI agents that amplify human creativity—while experimenting with transparent, human-guided AI governance.
The Bonfires Fund for Agentic Creativity supports the growing wave of people building AI agents—AI collaborators, assistants, and teammates—using new, accessible tools like OpenClaw, Bonfires, and other modern agent frameworks. We’re interested in agents that expand what humans can create, not replace them. From creative partners and research aides to collective sensemaking tools, this fund backs projects that treat AI as a multiplier for human imagination. It also treats evaluation itself as an experiment: AI agents assist in reviewing and reasoning about submissions, while final decisions remain firmly in human hands—transparent, inspectable, and accountable.

We welcome artists, researchers, designers, engineers, writers, organizers, and first-time builders who are curious about AI agents and ready to experiment. You do not need to be a professional developer. If you can describe a useful agent and prototype it—especially using modern agent frameworks—you belong here.
While all funding follows Artizen’s standard mechanics, projects in this fund are reviewed through an agent-assisted process: AI agents analyze submissions, surface strengths and risks, and generate structured recommendations. Human fund admins review these outputs and make all final approval and removal decisions.
To qualify for this fund, projects must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Create or prototype an AI agent, AI collaborator, or agent-powered workflow
- Clearly explain what the agent does and how it amplifies human creativity, such as:
- Helping people write, design, compose, or create art
- Supporting research, sensemaking, or scientific discovery
- Assisting communities in organizing knowledge or coordinating action
- Acting as an AI teammate that makes humans more capable, not replaceable
- Be accessible in spirit: projects should lower the barrier for humans to work with agents, not merely observe them
- Share a prototype, demo, or working example (including no-code or low-code builds)
- Be compatible with Artizen’s standard funding structure (submissions, artifact sales, matching, and seasonal allocation)
- Agree that project evaluation will involve AI agents generating analyses, summaries, and recommendations, with humans retaining final authority
Strongly encouraged (but not required):
- Use Bonfires to structure agent memory, shared knowledge, or context over time
- Build agents using OpenClaw or similar tools that make agent creation accessible to non-experts
- Explore shared or multiplayer agent memory, longitudinal context, or transparent reasoning processes
- Publish documentation, graphs, or audit trails showing how your agent thinks, learns, or evolves
