About
We're taking Leverage Institute's research in deterministic belief change & belief reporting, and applying it in the real world to demonstrate how to formally document and "fingerprint" the effects of specific psychological warfare on human minds
Impact
It will restore trust in the information commons. Today people either believe everything, or assume everything is a psyop. Showing a formal method of detection will allow humans to trust again, build modern cognitive defenses
Progress
- We planted a "memetics weather station" in a popular subculture on twitter for opt-in open source mind study - We launched an open source psyop "Anatomy of an Internet Argument", funded by Analogue and Vitalik Formal methods are the next leap
Team
- I've spent a year raising awareness of psyops, their techniques, and the need to study them and do public interventions - I have a large volunteer network across disparate cultures that are prime testing grounds & that consent to this testing
