About
A place where researchers across Africa can publish their work, discuss it in public, and showcase what they are building for collective progress.
Impact
Most policy and innovation decisions in Africa get made using research produced elsewhere. Nubian puts locally grounded knowledge into circulation so that the people closest to the problems have a shot at shaping the solutions.
Progress
Decentralised infra running since Sept. 2025, with over 50 papers uploaded across disciplines in the first month. 4 episodes of Dialogues aired, with one reaching 1000 replays. Partners include NuNet. Featured by DeSci World and the P2P Foundation.
Team
I've been building learning spaces for years before Nubian. I come from Lagos, Nigeria, inside the same systems the researchers I serve navigate daily. Two years in, no institutional backing, every signal and milestone has been truly earned.

| Season | Fund | Status | Applied |
|---|---|---|---|
| Season 7 | Commons Hub Fund for Village Builders | submitted | 2026-08-05 |
Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
