We're building the settlement layer that lets money move directly across African borders instead of detouring through the dollar.
Impact
Rift is building the financial plumbing a continent needs to trade with itself. By settling African currencies directly instead of routing through the dollar, we keep value inside local economies and make cross-border trade viable.
Progress
Rift is live. We've built the wallets, ramps, and settlement rails, moved real volume across corridors like Kenya-Tanzania, onboarded early businesses and 5,000+ users, and joined Circle's Alliance. Next: activating full netting on our first corridor
Team
I'm a builder from Nairobi, finance and CS, who has shipped DeFi at real scale. I live in the market I'm fixing, understand its money problems firsthand, and I've built Rift's full stack myself. I'm not studying this problem from afar, I'm inside it.
