About
I’m making soul/R&B/jazz music that tells stories about finding home, remembering truth, and the places that protect us. I'm collaborating with Phoenix-area local musicians Kelvin Lewis, Mario Garcia, Daijon Laster, Israel Solomon and Henry James.
Impact
This project will invite people to rethink their ideas of people, place, Earth and our interconnection, riding on the sonic waves of soul music grounded in African musicality, indigenous rhythms and gospel-jazz inflections.
Progress
I have completed studio recordings of three of the five original songs. In addition, I have built a room-sized custom wood and newspaper collage art installation that serves as the primary visual and key art for the project.
Team
I am a lifelong musician who has released three albums and performed on countless stages. Grounded in my Gullah Geechee cultural lineage and recent emergence as a mixed media collage artist, I'm uniquely positioned to bring these themes to life.

The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
