About
A series of live workshops guiding participants through the basics of digital signal processing within the domain of music concrete. Field recordings, node-based effect design, and resynthesis will be explored through hands on sessions.
Impact
This series is ultimately aimed at producing a community of sound engineers who can design their own networked instruments to play in tandem in a one of a kind orchestra. These novel compositions will be showcased in an event concluding our series.
Progress
This course has been inspired by my personal work in music, event production. My recent PureData instruments will serve has the spring board for our exploration into this feels.
Team
I have held lifelong love of music with a focus on novel synthesis in the past 3 years. I believe that the limits of sonic abstraction within this domainhave yet to approach their technical limit however are typically obscured by genre norms.
