Supporting LGBTQ+ creators building culture, community and new futures through art and media—on our terms.
The Haus of Us Fund exists to resource LGBTQ+ creators who are expanding culture, imagination, and collective understanding, often without access to traditional funding or institutional support. Rooted in chosen family, shared stewardship, and non-extractive care, this fund treats queer creativity as a living 'queer creative commons,' a shared cultural ecosystem shaped by artists, storytellers, and makers across entertainment, art and media. We support work that strengthens this commons through integrity, cultural relevance, and community responsibility rather than credentials or hype.

Eligibility
The Haus of Us Fund supports LGBTQ+ creators at any stage who are producing culturally meaningful work in the entertainment, arts and media. We prioritize under-resourced and under-recognized voices, and we value clarity of intention, care for community, and ethical creative practice over polish, scale, or formal experience. Projects may be experimental, emerging or fully formed. To qualify for this fund, projects must meet the following eligibility requirements: - Be led by an LGBTQ+ creator or collective - Focus on entertainment, art and/or media (including but not limited to film, XR, visual art, performance, podcasts, games, publishing or hybrid forms) - Demonstrate clear creative intention and cultural relevance - Align with values of care, non-extraction, and shared stewardship - Take responsibility for how the work impacts queer communities and cultural life - Be open to creators at any stage of development - No formal credentials, prior funding or technical expertise required - Only one project, per creator may be submitted at a time; multiple project entries from a creator will not be accepted - Active participation is required to remain in the fund. Projects that go dormant (i.e. no updates, no community engagement) will be removed. We call them "Ghost Projects," and they're not a good fit for what we're building together. If life gets in the way, we get it: you're always welcome to reapply when the timing is right.
