About
A fun and educational way for Edge-goers to meet actual people in the places we are operating in, and learn about what flourishing means for them.
Impact
If we intend to build things that have a positive impact on people and communities beyond ourselves, it's important to be in relationship with them, so we know what they need!
Progress
After also placing first in the Funding the Commons Simocracy experiment, one successful Street Retreat gathering has taken place with a local partner in the Tenderloin, Faithful Foods. A second gathering is planned for later this week.
Team
I started practicing this in 2020, and have since led several groups. I've also led School of Wise Innovation for 2 years, facilitating many creative "embodied ethics" experiences. https://medium.com/an-idea/let-the-gifting-games-begin-e79cb3156633

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
