About
I am making a funny film telling the serious story of a group of left-out people who really need and want to have a safe & joyful place to live. They are all living in a seaside home together; Using their magic of creativity to build a good life.
Impact
This film spreads knowledge, highlighting the universal need for safe housing & showing that building a new world needs new stories. This project contributes to narrative justice & the need for visibility & representation of marginalized people.
Progress
-Preliminary permission has been granted by film subjects -Some footage intend for B roll has been gathered. -Prose & poetry has been written for narration -I have hosted round-table discussions in the name of collective creative in-puts
Team
I’m not observing from afar; I am part of the reality of the people whose stories I aim to share. I am a celebrated storyteller who has spent a decade telling multi-media stories through the lens of Hip Hop's Knowledge of Self principles.
