About
A four-part documentary series following a journey called a Vision Quest, where Barbara Lima fasts alone in nature for four days and four nights to deepen the expression of her true self and voice. I'll also be fasting as I film.
Impact
Stories are the most powerful tool for meaning making. By following Barbara Lima's transformation, the series will awaken personal growth, deepen community connection, and inspire cultural renewal.
Progress
I've created a treatment pitch deck and secured the location for the docuseries (Mount Shasta, California) as well as a partnership with The Rites of Passage Council (who will be guiding the docuseries' vision quest).
Team
I'm a passionate storyteller, cinematographer, and trained Rites of Passage Guide. After experiencing two life-changing Vision Quests, I know the deep healing this ritual offers—and I’m driven to share that journey with others through film.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
