About
Wild Returns illustrated children's books let rescued animals tell their story, fostering empathy for nature and increase visibility and support for the people who dedicate their lives to protect them.
Impact
Each book funds the organisation that saved the animal in its story, and teaches children empathy for wildlife and the real impact humans can have on nature and its inhabitants. The illustrations will be commissioned from local artists.
Progress
Jaguar Rescue Centre has agreed to be the pilot story, and the first draft is written. Conversations are in progress to find a local artist, and research is underway into ecological printing options. There are talks with other orgs for new stories.
Team
12+ years as a production manager & producer in creative industries, running projects from concept to delivery. I learn the stories through volunteering hands-on with wildlife, and connect them with structure and talent to share them with the world.
