Eligibility
The Zine Fund welcomes projects using print media to express bold ideas, elevate underrepresented voices, or strengthen local creative ecosystems. We support both creators and infrastructure builders innovating how zines are made, shared, and celebrated. To qualify for this fund, projects must meet the following eligibility requirements: - Focus on zines, fanzines, or other forms of DIY print media. - May include tools or platforms that help printing, publishing, or distributing zines. - Can involve street art, poster campaigns, or physical artifacts aimed at community engagement. - Strong emphasis on accessibility, local impact, or underground culture. - Projects may explore AI or digital tools to empower physical media creation and distribution. - Early-stage and experimental concepts welcome, but must be actionable and achievable. - For securing a higher impact of the fund, we will prioritize projects whose main objective is to create print media and that need less funding to get set up. - A project can only rise for one season. - To ensure Zines actually happen. You will need to make a zine available to buy in the rewards section. Each creator may submit only one project to this Fund per season. If multiple submissions are received from the same creator, the Fund Director will select the one that best aligns with the Fund’s mission and remove the others.
