Sharks live in the ocean. Scientists count them and watch where they go. We help scientists save what they see, so the numbers are never lost. One day we hope to do this for all animals.
Impact
Every year, scientific observations of wildlife are lost — hard drives fail, labs close, grants end. By keeping records permanent and open, we give researchers, educators, and communities something that outlasts any of us. Conservation decisions made

I'm a software engineer. What I bring is the other half scientific data usually lacks: long-lived systems, open APIs, and engineering discipline to make sure what's collected today is still readable decades from now.
