About
We are building one floating house as the first piece of a bigger experiment. Homes can move apart for deep focus or cluster for collaboration, while growing seaweed, oysters and marine habitat underneath. The first house lets us test what works.
Impact
We want to test a new way of living where people can choose solitude or community without leaving either behind. If it works, it could create local jobs, healthier marine habitat and an open source model for creative communities on water.
Progress
The first unit is designed and budgeted at about $100k. We have local approvals, a Jan to May 2027 build plan, and housing for the builders.
