About
Interrupt the Loop is a concert series where we provide a reflective space for attendees to rest, journal, light a candle, be still, or have a picnic. We move thru a variety of embodiment practices, music, visuals, & group singing to inspire & renew.
Impact
This project helps facilitate connection with self and each other. We build community resilience and improve mental health by offering opportunities to RE humanize one another, to wonder, to digest the injustices of this world and inspire courage.
Progress
We've produced 6 events in Seattle over the last year and a half in collaboration with the Fremont Abbey. Each event has drawn us closer to a more complete expression of Interrupt the Loop, with increased engagement, focus, & imagination.
Team
I am an artist, musician, & writer who was raised in a cult. I turned to music to heal. I turned to movement to thrive. I turned to art to grow. In collaboration with Daniel Nelson (visual artist/designer) we hope to continue growing this offering.
