About
We are turning Issue Two into a documentary field book and digital story commons. Five interviews, photographs, local writing, and seven reflective questions follow the small food places that help rural New Mexico communities hold together.
Impact
The project makes small groceries, growers, cooks, and rural knowledge more visible and connected. It creates a practical cultural record of food access in and around Jemez, while testing a repeatable storytelling method other communities can use.
Progress
Issue One is in circulation. For Issue Two, we completed five New Mexico grocery interviews using N2R-guided questions, gathered field photographs and local submissions, secured support from La Choza, and began a digital publishing pilot.
Team
I am a Jemez-based regenerative storyteller, natural farming educator, and community publisher. I have built trust, produced the first issue, conducted the fieldwork, and can connect lived stories, visual culture, and practical community action.
