This fund backs the people growing the future from the ground up: food foresters, seed stewards, and community cultivators restoring abundance through living systems. Run by AgroforestDAO and rooted in syntropic agroforestry, ancestral memory, and cyber-coordination, it supports projects building a rooted network society shaped by seasonal rhythms, intergenerational wealth, and cyberstigmergy

Eligibility

This fund is for growers and community stewards cultivating real abundance in living systems. It is the mission of AgroforestDAO, to build bridges between tech and food forests, between urban and rural. We want to support projects that coordinate online and are grounded in place, aligned with seasonal rhythms, and committed to passing on ecological knowledge, productive landscapes, and resilient culture across generations.
To qualify for this fund, projects must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Be actively producing natural resources, stewarding seeds, or organizing community agriculture meet-ups managing food forests, agroforestry, or syntropic systems. Not for reforestation without food production, animal husbandry, composting or horticulture.
- Share photos in the slide deck that clearly document their food forest, meet-ups, agroecological site, forest harvests or cultivated landscape.
- Share in their slide deck their past six months updates and their following six months goals.
- Describe the species they steward, cultivate, protect, propagate, or are bringing into relationship.
- Demonstrate an intergenerational orientation through long-term stewardship, knowledge transfer, cultural continuity, family or community participation, or care for future generations.
- Reflect the spirit of online coordination, knowledge building, and community resilience in service of a thriving food forest culture for the 21st century.
