About
We are building a city with its own data lake. Sensors and residents put in facts about the air, the power and the traffic, all proven on-chain. User owned, public utility. A local stablecoin monetizes the data so people get paid for what they share.
Impact
Local institutions cannot see their own city at a micro level; that data sits in corporate silos. A city-owned record fixes that and pays residents for their contribution. A local dollar keeps the value circulating locally instead of leaving town.
Progress
Infra. is designed and deployment ready: a Kansas City pilot chain for verified local data, a resident data marketplace, and the KC Dollar as the payment layer on top. The attestation SDK is open source. Pilot partnerships are in progree.
Team
Modern Society Labs and Locale Network have over a decade building and studying DeFi, stablecoins, and blockchain / data systems. Founded and HQ’d in Kansas City. This project was built tailored for economic resilience and scalability.
