Reasonscape is an AI tool that maps philosophical debates as trees of premises, challenges, and evidence. We're testing whether structured mapping helps philosophers resolve real conceptual cruxes instead of recycling static positions.
Impact
Foundational philosophical questions (machine consciousness, value theory, ethics) shape how we build AI and govern emerging tech. Tools that help thinkers make genuine conceptual progress matter for any society reasoning at this depth.
Progress
Built a Reasonscape prototype. Selected as research contributor to Edge Esmeralda 2026, with access to philosophers and AI safety researchers in residence. Running parallel pilots on personal reflection, deliberation, and agent representation.
Team
Building Reasonscape after years at the intersection of philosophy, AI strategy (McKinsey), and computational biology (UPenn). I use the tool myself for hard philosophical work, including a developing metaethics paper. Real user of what I'm building.
