About
I’m creating a small space on the street where people can stop, sit down, and get a pencil portrait in about 10 minutes. While I draw, we talk and create a sharing space to be in the small now, what is going on right at this moment, inside of us?
Impact
While I draw a portrait, we share ten minutes without no other place to be. Instead of telling long stories about the past or future, we pay attention to what is happening now: how we feel, what we notice, and what it’s like to simply be together.
Progress
I made my street sign, practiced by drawing friends and people I meet, and discovered how much I love observing faces while talking with them. These conversations have helped shape the idea of the project before bringing it to the street.
Team
Nothing is holding me back from creating extraordinary interactions with humans everyday. I want to create a bridge into a new way of relating with strangers, and where intimacy can be created through honesty instead of time.
